Who am I?

Hi, My name is Patrick and...

I’m an IT Professional and a glorified sysadmin; have been for 15+ years. I’m Microsoft MCSA 2016 and MTA 2008 Server Certified, as well as I more recently acquired my Azure Administrator Associate, and Azure Solutions Architect Expert certifications. I’m also CompTIA Sec+ Certified. In 2008 I achieved the rank of an eagle Scout through the BSA. During my time as a BoyScout, I received my  PADI Advanced Open Water Scuba-diving Certification. I have been skateboarding since the age of 8, snowboarding since the age of 10 and self taught myself how to Kiteboard in my early 20’s. In my early teenage years, my dad taught me how to fly-fish(some of my favorite memories growing up) and I spent most of the weekends of my teenage years in the Mountains of Virginia and West Virginia searching for the elusive GrandSlam(Brooke, rainbow and brown trout.. add a golden for good measure). since the start of my love for everything automotive, I have only ever owned and daily driven cars with a third pedal and gear shifter(read manual car). My love of BMW’s started with a 1984 533i followed by a 2008 135i and the current  2010 128i. all of this was littered in between with two Toyota MR2 Spyders(including my current) and a 2020 Mazda 3i sport(it was a good car, but NOT for me.. something about fwd and low power just killed it for me.. it was a 6 speed though). I’ll add some more here eventually, but for now I want this site back up!

The Passion Project

The Cultured Car

The untold stories of the people behind the car.

Isn't it just another creative agency?
The Cultured Car is more than just an automotive video production company—we’re storytellers. Our passion is capturing the heart and soul of every car, build, and the ownership experience. Through engaging and entertaining content, we bring the stories behind the cars to life. With a commitment to unmatched quality, our videos and photos don’t just showcase cars—they immerse you in the world of automotive culture.
My Creative Process

From concept to completion, The Cultured Car is dedicated to producing films that inspire and resonate with the automotive community. With a focus on storytelling, craftsmanship, and collaboration, I create content that not only showcases incredible vehicles but also captures the passion and culture that define the automotive world.

The Foundation

MyTechLiving

MyTechLiving started as a platform to help spread technical knowledge through the use of various forms of online social media. What started with a YouTube channel quickly branched off and began providing online web hosting, web design & development for various small businesses. From there, I kept the momentum moving forward and branched off into System Engineering & Administration, and soon began working with three of the largest wholesalers in the US to provide competitive pricing for enterprise and consumer IT hardware, software and services. My goal was to find a way to take technology and make it work in a way that made my customers lives easier, more affordable, and without being intrusive and in the way. With continued growth, I brought on two others to assist me and we soon began researching and bidding on government contracts while also working with a few other companies in the government contracting space. As time went on, MyTechLiving continued to develop as any business does, but oftentimes with development comes evolution, and that’s exactly what has happened. MyTechLiving has shifted focus time and time again, but that’s the beauty in this beast; It is “My Tech Living”. The foundation of this business is the technology that I use to make a living, whatever that may entail, and that very technology is what continues to drive this business forward. While MyTechLiving is no longer working in the Government Contracting space, it still very much has the capacity and capabilities it once did in supplying the IT and technical goods and services of yesteryear, and while that is no longer the focus, we still have a handful of legacy customers who rely on us on a daily basis.
MyTechLiving is currently the umbrella of which a handful of entrepreneurial endeavors fall under. The primary are creative services in the form of Automotive Photography and an automotive video series known as “The Cultured Car”. We also have multiple legacy customers who rely on us for our web hosting & development as well as technical knowledge for their cloud based(Azure) software and services.
