🎬 Sony S-Log2 / S-Log3 LUT Pack
Overview:
This LUT Pack is designed for filmmakers and colorists working with Sony cameras who want a fast, accurate, and natural conversion from S-Log2 and S-Log3 to REC709. Built using the latest Sony color science, these LUTs deliver a neutral foundation that enhances your footage without over-stylizing it.
Philosophy – “Less Is More”
This pack was developed around a minimalist grading approach — adding just enough contrast and saturation to make your images pop, while gently lowering the blacks and shadows to achieve balanced depth and tonality. The goal is to bring your image into a proper REC709 color space with minimal creative interference, giving you a clean and consistent starting point for further grading.
Development & Compatibility
The LUTs were initially created using footage from the Sony A6700 and Sony FX30, taking advantage of the latest color science and image processing from Sony’s newest cameras.
They were then adapted and tested on the Sony FS5 and Sony F5, demonstrating excellent compatibility across both new and legacy Sony sensors and color pipelines. This ensures reliable, high-quality results no matter which Sony camera you use.
